Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser

It is a requirement of the ADR 2023 regulations that undertakings which are involved in the consigning (sending) or carriage (transporting) of dangerous goods (DGs) by road shall appoint one or more safety advisers, commonly referred to as DGSAs.

A DGSA is responsible for helping to prevent the risks inherent in such activities with regard to persons, property and the environment.

Our service

We offer a qualified contracted DGSA service for All Classes (1-9) of goods offered for Road transport subject to ADR/CDG2009. We do not provide DGSA services for transport by rail or inland waterways.

All packages are quoted based on individual customer requirements, based on the information provided in the Information Form below. However, our basic package includes:

• One monitoring visit per contract year
• Production of your ADR Annual Report
• 24 hour on-site*, email and telephone support, 365 days per year.
• Preparation of reports to the Competent Authority that may be required following a significant event.

Training

 We offer function-specific training for your employees to satisfy your obligations under ADR. This includes training for staff involved in the scheduling, packing, filling, loading or unloading dangerous goods. We can also help you to develop your own in-house training to improve your resilience in this area.
